We are delighted to announce that the Ukraine Refugee Concert went well and even had some Ukrainian refugees in the audience. Over £1,000 was raised on the night to swell the total raised by Church Minshull village to over £3,000. Thank you to all who supported the event.
Two cast members to do Intermission Fill In
Well the ‘best laid plans’ have gone up the spout again, so our next activity is in support of the Ukraine Refugee Fund. Two members of the MAD Group have been asked to fill in between acts at the concert on 2nd July at 7.30pm in St Bart’s church, Church Minshull. All proceeds will go to the fund and MAD Members are asked to support the event in any way they can. Thank you.
“Minshull through time” Play Information
It is with great regret that we have taken the decision to once again, postpone our next production of ‘Minshull Through Time’ due in March.
With the onset of the Omicron variant of Covid, we cannot safely start rehearsals in January and it would be irresponsible of us to try and result in the spread of the virus to our cast members.
We hope that by the Autumn we will be able to finally present the show on 27th to 29th October 2022, which are now provisionally chosen.

Production Council Meeting 9th July 2019
The MAD Group Council had a meeting on Monday 8th July 2019 at the Badger Inn.
We had a post-production discussion and all agreed that Andy Baddeley’s Murder Mystery idea was a great success.
It was also agreed that our next production will be “Church Minshull through Time” and is scheduled to be held in the new space in St. Bart’s Church and hoped to be performed March 2020. We shall be looking for names of those who will be wanting to join the cast & crew in the very near future.

“Murder by Appointment” thanks to you all
Our thanks go to the MAD Group members for their participation in “Murder by Appointment” and also to those who supported us by attending the performances. One of the audience wrote to us and said…
I thoroughly enjoyed the performance last night. It was a really good idea to do it semi-improvised as it made the whole thing sound more natural. And a very good idea to incorporate Betty again this year as well. I know I shouldn’t really mention individual performances, but PJ was absolutely brilliant.
Thanks for a very entertaining few hours. Lesley
