Sadly, our Autumn production has had to be postponed until March 2020.
The alterations to the church interior have taken longer to pass through the full planning stages than was expected.
The script is ready in draft form and the costumes sourced, so watch this space for further information on rehearsal dates.
We have some new members but will be looking for as many to join the cast as we can muster!
The MAD Group Council had a meeting on Monday 8th July 2019 at the Badger Inn.
We had a post-production discussion and all agreed that Andy Baddeley’s Murder Mystery idea was a great success.
It was also agreed that our next production will be “Church Minshull through Time” and is scheduled to be held in the new space in St. Bart’s Church and hoped to be performed March 2020. We shall be looking for names of those who will be wanting to join the cast & crew in the very near future.

Our thanks go to the MAD Group members for their participation in “Murder by Appointment” and also to those who supported us by attending the performances. One of the audience wrote to us and said…
I thoroughly enjoyed the performance last night. It was a really good idea to do it semi-improvised as it made the whole thing sound more natural. And a very good idea to incorporate Betty again this year as well. I know I shouldn’t really mention individual performances, but PJ was absolutely brilliant.
Thanks for a very entertaining few hours. Lesley
